About me

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada

I was born and raised in Northern Nevada, this community has shaped who I am both personally and professionally. I began my work as a mental health therapist in 2020, I have had the privilege to support individuals through some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe, seen and supported. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can show up exactly as they are.

Before entering into counseling I worked with the Crisis Support Services of Nevada, where I supported individuals navigating crisis, trauma and deep emotional pain. That experience strengthened my commitment to meeting every client with steadiness, empathy and respect no matter what they are going through.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with specialized training in EMDR and trauma informed care. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, depression, relationship challenges and major life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ and transgender communities, offering affirming, knowledgeable care for individuals exploring gender identity, sexuality and self expression.

My practice is inclusive of diverse relationship structures and sexual identities. I welcome clients in polyamorous or nontraditional relationships as well as those seeking support around intimacy, communication or sexual healing. I am a kink allied and sex positive counselor who approaches these topics with sensitivity, respect and a focus on each person’s comfort, goals and unique needs.

My Approach

Therapy should feel like a partnership, a space where you feel understood, empowered and supported. My style is warm, grounded and collaborative. I’m trained and use multiple therapeutic modalities such as:

  • CBT - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing

  • Person Centered Therapy

  • Skill Building

  • Mindfulness

Healing is not linear, and it does not have to be rushed. We will work at your pace, exploring what feels right for you.

A Safe Place to Land

My goal is to create a space where you can breathe, reflect, feel, heal, and grow without pressure or judgement. At Best Nest Therapy, I strive to offer a safe place to land: a supportive environment where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move towards a life that feels more grounded and authentic.

Therapy is not about perfection; its about connection, understanding, and building a life that aligns with who you are and who you are becoming.

If you are ready to begin your healing journey, or even if you are simply curious about what therapy might look like, I would be honored to connect with you.

A waterfront scene with swans swimming in the water, sailboats docked, a promenade with people walking, and historic buildings with tall church spires in the background under a partly cloudy sky.
